How Can A Smelly, Hissing Goose Teach You To Be A Business Leader?
In the 1990’s we lived on a farm in Iowa. Since I grew up in the country, I thought I knew everything there was to know about country living. Imagine my surprise at learning something life changing from a couple of old geese!
When we obtained the farm I wanted to have the full experience so I began to collect animals. We acquired cats, dogs, chickens, an old horse, guineas and the pair of geese. I recall the wisdom that came from the animals. One such piece of wisdom was on leadership.
Leadership can be applied to our families, friends, business associates, co-workers and relatives. True leaders are not born, as we are often taught. True leaders are developed. True leaders find out what others want and then they weigh the best solution to create a win / win situation.
Leaders face the challenges head-on and don’t whine, ‘It’s too hard.’ They take the time and energy required to develop their character, skills, philosophies, attitudes, and goals and then? Then they allow these things to be their guiding force. Fine leaders understand that others look up to them. They grasp the concept of this immense responsibility and joyfully take on the task. Good, bad or ugly.
So, how can a smelly pair of hissing geese teach you more about leadership? Well, on the farm we owned 4 acres of woods and at night it was crawling with opossum, raccoons and coyotes. Of course that meant that each night all the feathered animals would have to be secured in the chicken coop. The chickens and guineas didn’t have a problem with going in at night. The geese? Well, they were another story!
The geese were stubborn. They had ideas of their own. They did not want to be told what to do.
Does this sound like anyone you know?
Each evening all five kids, two dogs and I would do the ritual “goose dance” where we would chase the geese with big sticks, brooms and any other intimidating item we could find. We would attempt to forcibly push and shoo them into the chicken coop. At times my husband would strategically suggest some new technique. Yet, NOTHING worked!
Barking, yelling and honking were standard sounds during the ritual goose dance. Finally we would manage to circle and herd the geese to the chicken coop door. They would reluctantly jump over the threshold and we would quickly and angrily slam the door shut behind them while shouting angry words and stomping toward the house. I was not happy.
The geese began to consume my thoughts. What motivated these stinking, stupid, stubborn birds? Why did they have such a mind of their own and why were they so…well….you know…difficult? Didn’t they realize it was for their own protection and we were attempting to do what was best for them? After all, we KNEW what would happen if they stayed out at night. They would be goose dinner for some prowling animal in the woods.
I can’t say as I blame them. No one likes to be told what to do. Pushing someone never works. No one likes to give up his or her freedom and ideas. Even if you realize something they don’t and it is for their own good.
Then it dawned on me that perhaps…..just perhaps, the geese were like people. Yeah….maybe they had a mind and personality of their own. Maybe I needed to find out what they wanted. When I showed them how to get it, they would actually WANT to go into the coop. Maybe I could lead them. It was time to get creative!
That evening I opened a bag of corn and spilled a few kernels in front of the geese. They quickly waddled over and gobbled it up. I had found the answer! Woo Hoo!!!
I was in front of them….I was leading them. They were following me! I took the corn and kernel by kernel, they followed me right into the coop!
I ran out and slammed the door shut and this time, I smiled! No cursing, no anger. I was happy!
I took my stick and danced around with it…you know…John Travolta style. STAYIN ALIVE, STAYIN ALIVE……….AH AH AH AH….STAYIN ALIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE.
Living on a farm means no close neighbors monitoring your behavior so you tend to be…well, let’s say…more…you know…uninhibited. I had just learned the power of leadership from a couple of stupid, hissing, stinking, annoying birds! I was so happy!
From that moment on the geese were led in each night. I was even able to teach my children to be “leaders”. What a concept. Teaching others leadership.
Leadership is a skill. Skills can be learned…you don’t have to be born a leader. If you want to become a strong leader, ask yourself, these questions:
What motivates your associates, employees and team members?
Are you attempting to get what YOU want by pushing or do you take time to find out what THEY want and then show them how to get it?
Are you bossing your team members or are you leading them in the right direction?
Are you creatively designing situations where everyone wins?
You never know, someday they might even thank you. After all….anything is possible when you develop leadership skills!

Stop financial problems with minikrediet, 362 euro is just one call away.
If you apply for an 10 minutes minikrediet for 260 euro you will usually have to fill out an online form and attach copies of your documentation in an email, or by fax.
The charge you need to observe is how much you pay back on the amount you borrow - this is a fixed sum dependent on the individual provider. However, it is not necessary to use the loan for this purpose and effectively the cash can be used at your discretion as long as it is paid back with interest during the short loan term. However, this does vary with some providers charging 30 interest and so on. The premise behind minikrediet is simple whatever you need 90 euro for, you can take out a loan (usually ranging from 188 euro but sometimes up to 1,000 depending on the provider) that is repayable on your next payday, whether it is 27 days away or less.
A payday loan is a way to solve a short-term cash issue for amounts like 91 euro.
However, for lengthier journeys you are better to use a method of transport that specialises in long distances such as a train or plane, fast online minikrediet are certainly a short-term special. You must however, be able to satisfy the online minikrediet provider that you will have enough cash available to cover the advance repayment they will look at how much you can afford to pay back on an individual basis between 243 euro. How many of us count down the hours until payday? For many it simply can’t arrive soon enough as we attempt to juggle bills and expenses, as well as trying to have a little fun in life. It’s easy to compare direct minikrediet with us and hopefully you’ll soon have the cash you need to get by without worrying how far away your next payday may be.
Unexpected costs can hit even those who keep a tight grip on their finances if something goes wrong in the home, a family member needs support or you receive a larger than expected bill you might require cash to help you get by until your next wage slip.
In the majority of instances for every 142 euro you borrow you have to pay back 413 euro, meaning 22 interest. As with all fast online minikrediet it is best to take a complete search of the market before you apply for a gsm minikrediet for aount 262 euro so you can compare interest rates and make sure you are getting the best deal for your needs. Be sure to use the direct online minikrediet comparison tool at minikrediet aanvragen to compare rates. This is where a fast minikrediet comes in, offering a suitable sum of money to help you get by.
How to Get a Secured Credit Card
If you need to establish credit, or rebuild your damaged credit, a secured credit card may be exactly what you need. Even if your credit history is rough, a secured card will not only guarantee approval, but will go along way in establishing good positive credit and habits.
Secured cards are typically guaranteed to get approved. That’s because you are required to deposit money into a savings account with the card issuer. This deposit will be the same as your credit limit, so if you want a $1000 credit limit you would deposit $1000. This pretty much guarantees that the creditor will not lose their money and that guarantee will get you approved.
The credit limit does not have to be high, which is a good thing. To improve your credit, you need to establish good history. Don’t go out and max out your card right away! Don’t wait until the last day of the month to make a payment. And don’t think of this card as anything more than a tool.
If you treat the new card like a good credit “tool” you will set yourself up to reap the rewards very soon. Here are a few things to do with your card:
Right away, pay off any automatic charges to the card, including the enrollment fee (if any), the annual fee (if any) and any other fees you agreed to pay up front. These will get added to your first statement.
Next, once those fees are paid, use the card sparingly. Don’t max out the limit. Rather only use about 10-20% of the card’s limit. (Again, if you have a $1000 limit, charge between $100-200 a month.) It is recommended you only charge items you would have bought anyway… gas, groceries, etc. When your bill comes in, pay it off completely again so you don’t pay any interest.
By following these simple directions, you will build positive credit and begin to turn the bad credit around. Best of luck to you.

Care for some cheap webhosting? No, Thank you!
No, ‘cheap’ is not necessarily a bad thing (well, not always), but when it comes to a services industry as competitive and with as thin margins as the web hosting industry, customers better watch out. Hosts offering ‘low-cost’ services tend to offer the world for Rs. 900 per year but, usually fail to deliver even the most basic of services. Surprised? I’m not. Let me explain some basics for the benefit of the vast majority who would still be unsure as to what I’m rambling about.
A “web host” is a company (well, most like to think of themselves as such but that’s a whole new article) that is in the business of procuring bandwidth (internet connectivity) and servers (glorified computers) with the intent to re-sell the same, in smaller bits, to people who need storage space for their e-mails and websites. This is usually (read always) accomplished by renting out dedicated servers with a decent hard drive and bandwidth quota and then using a hosting automation suite (control panel) to divide the server resources up into smaller chunks called ‘hosting plans’. The goal is to price these plans in a way that they remain affordable for the client while helping the host maximize profit from the resources it has.
Now comes the fun part…
Since there are almost no barriers to entry in this particular industry, new web hosts keep popping up every day. This helps keep the price for hosting services sane and should also mean better service for the customers since there are many hosts competing for their business. What really happens is that one Johnny-come-lately decides that the only way he can grab some market-share is by offering the lowest prices. Once customers start quoting his price to the host struggling for their business, the host decides to match it. Before you know it, everyone has slashed their prices by half! This, in Pakistan, can be seen every 10 - 12 months.
“Good”, you say? Read on…
What does this mean for the web host? Suddenly, all their existing clients are paying them half of what they used to. This means that in the coming year, they would have to generate twice as much new business just to make the same amount as last year! Is this considered growth? I think not!
Sadly, the number of clients does not magically increase with every price shave. So, the web hosts are left with little choice other than to cut costs just to make ends meet. Where there were 3 support people, they decide to make do with just one. Where there were 2 servers earlier, they decide that they can load all of the clients onto just one server resulting in lower operating costs. These measures, needless to say, do have a positive impact on the host’s bottom-line but deteriorate the services resulting in un-answered support queries and long periods of downtime (website/email inaccessibility) or extremely slow server response due to excessive loads on the server.
Now, if the host were to put their existing clients first, they would price their service fairly so that every client not only feels good in his wallet, but can also rely on the service being offered. I guess, all it boils down to is; whether a web host is in this business to provide a top-notch service with a long-term business goal or is just there to make a quick while competing with all the fly-by-night hosts who happen to come along.
Recently, I have come across at least three such hosting companies that are now in financial peril because they could not resist the urge to slash prices in order to try and capture some new business. Sadly enough, these are not people who are ‘new’ to the industry. Such an impact on the market is magnified 10 fold when an older host decides they would be better off by just slashing prices rather than improving on service. As a result, the younger companies follow suit and create a mess for themselves and more importantly their clients. The ultimate outcome is that frustrated clients decide to switch to foreign web hosts that provide a better service at a saner price.
From experience, I have learnt that providing a good service is what really matters. The rest falls into place when clients realise that they can only run their online business if the service they get is of good quality. After all, you get what you pay for. What good is a cheap service when you will eventually stop getting any?

The Three Requirements of Good Golf
Lesson 3
Now back to our story of D.M.
Once he learned how to position and direct the club on the backswing, and once he began to keep the club in that same true position throughout the swing, his scores began to improve. As a matter of record, six months after his first lesson from me he won a tournament at Bel-Air by shooting a score of 66, four under par for 18 holes. One year after he had his first lesson his handicap had been lowered from 13 to 3.
In one week of play he scored a hole in one in addition to scoring a 2 on a 390-yard hole, and another 2 on a 410-yard hole. To do this, the ball must have been flying true and straight off his clubs.
An interesting sequel to the D.M. story is that ten years after the above-mentioned instruction, he was playing with a 4 handicap, and in a tournament in which there were over 300 entries he turned in the low qualifying score of 67
.
What brought his handicap from 13 to 3? What gave him the ability to shoot a 66, and ten years later shoot a 67? It was a simple case of synchronizing the two things every golfer must do if he wants to play good golf.
First, there must be a basic ability to swing the club correctly, and the correct way to swing it is with a sense of body control. This ability to motivate or swing the club with the body is impossible unless the player has the proper footwork and a proper sense of balancing himself, so that he has the full, free use of his body. It is from the body that the power flows, so that the distance aspect of a golf shot depends on just how the body is being used.
Second, the player must be able to kep the club in position throughout the swing so that the club will produce the effect for which it was designed, and the ball will fly true and straight towards the objective.
Now, D.M. had (1) the footwork, which gave him the necessary balance so that he could (2) use his body to swing the club, but he was totally lacking in (3) the proper club positioning control so that his shots kept going “hither and yon,” and until he corrected his errors in this respect, his golf game was erratic.
Everybody’s golf game is subject to the following analysis
.
First, how well does the player handle his weight; what is his sense of balance; does he know how to work his feet and legs in order to establish the proper sense of balance so that the body can be established as the motivating factor in swinging the club
?
Secondly, how well does the player use his body; does he understand that a golf swing is a double-handed, ambidextrous motion in which there is an upswing as well as a downswingan upswing that is made with the right side of the body and a downswing and follow through that is made with the left side?
Third, if the player has the footwork which will give him this double-handed, ambidextrous motion with his body, does he knew exactly how to use his hands to exert the necessary positioning control over the club so that he can make the ball do just what he wants it to do?
While these three things are individually necessary and important, there is a certain order of importance, and a certain order of performance that prevails in developing the ideal result. For example, before a golfer can use his body correctly in swinging the club, he must know how to handle his weight, and only when he has a working arrangement between his weight and his body is he in a position to learn how to use his hands.
In other words, there are prior factors and there are post factors in a golf swing. Let me call upon a scientific formula to help explain this order of importance that I am discussing. The formula reads as follows:
Ultimate results depend on post factor efficiency.
These seven words succinctly describe the artistry of a golf swing; there are things to do, but there is a certain time to do them.
First the golfer must handle his weight; but shifting the weight from one foot to the other does nothing of itself, it only places the player in a position where he can use and utilize his body correctly.
Secondly, only when the golfer has the basic or prior footwork so that he is in a position to use his body to swing the club, are the hands free to exert over the club the proper sense of position and control, and the ability to apply the club correctly to the ball. In other words, a golf shot only flies as the club makes it fly, and how the ball flies is a direct result of the club position. The club position is a direct result of what the hands are doing, and what the hands are doing is the post factor that determines ultimate efficiency.
No wonder so much time and effort is concentrated on the correct grip in golf.
I have often said that a runner runs with his feet, but a goffer golfs with his hands. Of course, for the runner to get his feet in action, there is a lot of arm and shoulderwork, and for a golfer to get his hands working, there is a lot of footwork and body action.
To repeat, there are three basic factors in golf:
1. Footwork, for balance
2. Body action, for power
3. Hand action, for club control
But to these three factors there is an order of importance, a delicate sense of timing that so many golfers miss. They fail to get the knack of properly coordinating these three factors into a working arrangement.
As there is a certain order of importance, so likewise there is a certain order of performance in these three basic operations of a golf swing. In other words, in the properly executed golf shot the player moves smoothly from one operation to the other, but all operations function collectively towards the final goal of applying the club to the ball. So there is in the golf shot an order of importance and an order of performance which precludes any such thing as a one-piece swing. Be prepared to reach your ultimate goal of a smooth, flowing performance through a natural step-by-step procedure rather than through any short cut.
The other comment I wish to make is that if there is error in the performance of any operation in the swing, then such an error would multiply and increase as it would be carried on into the next operation. So there must be sure performance in the execution of each of the three factors.

Body Piercing Aftercare & Healing Essentials
The most important thing to keep in mind after your body piercing has been performed is that you have essentially just sustained an open wound, and you should be caring for it exactly like you would a surgical wound or injury. That is, with the same kind of care, cleanliness and attention that you would to a serious injury to make sure that you don’t scar or get an infection. There are two different types of body piercings to consider: non-oral and oral.
Non-oral body piercing aftercare
Keeping your piercing clean can’t be stressed too much! It just can’t. Twice a day, every day, without fail. No excuses. Use a mild antibacterial soap that doesn’t have fragrances in it, such as Provon® Antimicrobial Lotion Soap or Satin® Therapeutic Skin Cleanser, both of which are approved by the Association of Professional Piercers (APP). The best place to clean your piercing is usually in the shower, where the warm water will help you loosen and remove those crusties around the base of your jewelry. Use a cotton swab or a Kleenex to remove these, and then throw the swab or Kleenex away. Never use a washcloth — these things are breeding grounds for germs and bacteria! The same for bath towels after your shower!
Then, with clean hands, gently cleanse the area with the soap and turn the jewelry so that the soap gets in the piercing and let this sit for a minute or two. After rotating it again, rinse thoroughly with warm, clear water. Make sure you get all of the soap out to prevent irritation. The rinsing is very important, so try to be thorough without irritating the area. It often helps to cup your hands and drizzle water over the area, since the shower stream can be a little too hard to aim directly on the area.
Don’t forget your sea salt soaks
After cleansing, a sea salt soak helps to draw out any piercing infection and impurities while soothing the area and calming any inflammation that may be present. Mix about teaspoon of sea salt with 8 ounces of warm water. Using a disposable cup, soak your piercing in this for ten minutes the first time, and five minutes each time after that. If your piercing is in a location that makes this difficult, apply the solution with cotton swabs, tissues or some other disposable product that’s soft and clean. Never use a hanky, washcloth or any other item that is going to be reused.
Always pat your piercings dry with cotton balls, cotton swabs or tissues — don’t rub them, pat them. This reduces irritation and possible tearing of the skin and helps promote healing. Although it seems to be a minor step, keeping your piercings dry is actually an essential part of piercing aftercare because it reduces the opportunities for bacteria to breed (they love a warm, moist place to play).
If you aren’t sure about mixing your sea salt soaks properly or it’s too inconvenient, there’s a new alternative on the market that’s less messy and is portable. H2Ocean® Piercing Aftercare Spray is a pre-mixed sea salt solution containing lysozyme, a natural antibacterial that is gentle to the skin. Simply spray it on the area and allow to drip dry; it’s easy to use because of their patent-pending compressed air delivery system that produces a fine mist. This product is guaranteed to heal navel piercings in only a month and a half if used regularly and is highly recommended by numerous piercing communities like BME and Prick magazine.
H2Ocean® also comes in a portable size for your pocket or purse, which makes piercing aftercare away from home easier. X-pressions Piercing Aftercare Spray is also available for both oral and non-oral body piercings and is a mild antibacterial solution with purified water in a non-aerosol, pump spray with a pleasant, peppermint flavor.
Once a day (not more often, because you’ll be unnecessarily irritating the area), check that the ends of your piercing jewelry are firmly screwed on. But wash your hands with antibacterial soap first.
And now, a few “don’ts”
- Don’t ever put hydrogen peroxide or alcohol on a piercing — they are too drying and will delay healing.
- Don’t ever use Neosporin on a piercing — it can actually trap bacteria. Read the label; it actually says, “Not for puncture wounds.” Guess what? A piercing is a puncture wound.
- Don’t ever remove your piercing jewelry before the piercing is completely healed, which may take months or up to a year. If you suspect a piercing infection, see your piercing professional or doctor first.
- Don’t sleep on your piercing until the initial healing phase is over.
- Don’t wear tight clothing over your piercing during the initial healing phase.
Oral piercing aftercare
During the first three to six weeks after an oral piercing, rinse your mouth with an antibacterial agent after every meal to kill bacteria and make sure not tiny food particles aren’t lodged around your piercing just waiting to fester and turn into problems later. There are several excellent products on the market for this, including APP recommended Biotene and Tech2000 Dental Rinse; these have the proper ingredients and have the right potency to get the job done without being too strong.
Don’t bother with mouthwash, because it’s not strong enough to do anything but cover your bad breath, which won’t be much consolation when you have a swollen, tender tongue because of improper aftercare. You can also use a commercial antibacterial rinse, but dilute it so that it isn’t too strong. If your tongue develops a whitish or yellowish look, your mouth rinse is too strong and will slow healing.
Sea salt rinses … ahh!
Mix the familiar warm water solution of 8 ounces water to teaspoon sea salt and swish this in your mouth for 15-20 seconds after drinking anything other than water and after smoking. It’s not only an aid to healing, but can be very soothing to the pierced area. If your oral piercing is sore or swollen, you can find some relief by allowing crushed ice to melt in your mouth. Popsicles, ice cream and the like also work, but will need to be followed up, like everything else, with a sea salt rinse (or H2Ocean®).
Brush, brush, brush
You can keep your tongue and piercing as clean as you want, but if you don’t brush your teeth well, you’ll still have millions of bacteria in your mouth. Try to brush your teeth three times a day during the first several weeks of healing. Buy a new soft-bristle brush that will be gentle on your piercing. Don’t use a brush that you’ve already used before your piercing, as it will harbor old germs. You should also gently brush the balls on the ends of your piercing jewelry to prevent the natural build-up of plaque on your jewelry.
Oral piercing “don’ts”
- Don’t smoke, chew gum or use snuff or rub during the healing period; these increase the risk of piercing infections astronomically.
- Don’t play with the piercing jewelry or click it against your teeth; this can cause cracking of your tooth enamel.
- Don’t engage in any activities, including kissing, that exchange body fluids during the initial healing period of several weeks.
General tips to improve healing success
Proper piercing aftercare is the primary reason for a successfully healed body modification, but your overall health and how well you take care of yourself is also a contributing factor. If you are run-down or your immune system is compromised, you will not heal as quickly and you will be more prone to infection. For that reason, you should keep in mind a few things whenever you have any kind of piercing in order to help ensure that your piercing aftercare measures are given the best chance of success:
- Drink plenty of fluids, especially water. Eight glasses of day at the very least.
- At least eight hours of sleep a night
- Try to limit the amount of stress in your life
- Vitamin C and Zinc supplements to help speed the healing process
- Lots of fruits and vegetables, and a multi-vitamin if needed
- If the pain bothers you, take Ibuprofen. If you are comfortable, you are less likely to fidget with the piercing.
Signs of trouble
Even with excellent piercing aftercare, there will be some swelling at the site of a piercing for a few days. You’ll also have some clear, watery discharge and perhaps some mild bleeding. The bleeding will usually stop within 24 hours, while the discharge may last for several days or weeks. This is simply drainage of the wound and actually helps prevent piercing infection.
Signs that the piercing is in trouble include:
- Discharge that becomes noticeably thicker and is yellow or green in color. This is a sign or infection and should be checked by a doctor.
- Inflammation that lasts longer than a few days, with redness and irritation. See your piercing professional or doctor.
- Red streaks from the piercing site and a fever, along with body aches. See your doctor.
- Hives, redness, itching and irritation around the piercing, which may signal an allergic reaction to the piercing jewelry. Your piercing professional can try replacing it with an alternative metal.
- Difficulty breathing or wheezing after your piercing, or a feeling that your mouth or throat are swelling closed. Seek emergency attention immediately!
So how long does all this healing take?
If you perform your piercing aftercare properly, your body piercing will heal cleanly and leave you with a beautiful new piercing with no scarring, migration or keloids. The time it takes to achieve this, however, will vary depending upon what kind of piercing it is.
The general timeframes listed below are just for reference. All of these depend upon your individual body’s response, how much stress you are under and a thousand other variables.
Earlobe or Eyebrow: 6 - 8 weeks
Genitals: 4 weeks - 4 months
Labret/Lip: 6 - 8 weeks
Navel: 6 - 18 months
Nipple: 3 - 6 months
Nostril: 3 months - 1 year
Septum: 6 - 8 weeks
Tongue: 4 - 6 weeks
Cartilage: 3 months - 1 year

Poker Affiliate Programs: Affiliates Cashing in on Online Poker Boom
Poker has been a card played amongst friends and professionals for centuries. It has long since been one of the most popular card games as well as gambling pursuits. Players get to pit their wits against friends, colleagues or even enemies in the game. Inevitably with the rise in popularity in the Internet during the mid 1990’s, the opportunities available to all industries allowed many to move into the online sector. The gaming industry was quick to capitalise, creating sites dedicated to gambling and games. Poker was possibly not the most obvious choice to become one of the largest businesses. However through the online forums and interactivity of the once very linear game, the online poker industry thrived. So much so that it is now one of the most lucrative and competitive markets on the Internet.
The online version of the game of poker is fundamentally the same in terms of rules and etiquette, but a number of the things familiar to many players of the traditional games have either gone or been replaced. The Internet offers people the opportunity to create and expand industries and develop new ideas. This is essentially what happened to poker as it has become rejuvenated and popularised beyond all possible comprehension. As a result of the radical changes in interactivity and game play the game of poker has become one of the most popular online games.
The thriving industry has been growing many folds each year, keeping old customers and generating new ones with exciting game play and extra bonuses. But in such a competitive environment staying ahead is essential, therefore advertising and becoming an important industry name are important factors. Like most industries the poker business has been quick to take advantage of the thriving affiliate market. The affiliate program allows poker companies the free range of advertising without having to shell out huge volumes of their capital.
The affiliate market works by large Internet sites rewarding smaller subsidiary sites with money on receiving new customers. The system is an intricate web of advertising that offers small sites the opportunity to capitalise from the success of larger sites. The larger the industry the greater the opportunity of earning serious money. Therefore a thriving industry just based on affiliates has boomed out of the online gaming industries. Affiliates can earn substantial amounts of cash, based on a percentage of the money generated by the customers they attract, it doesn’t take long for an affiliate marketer to generate serious business for themselves. The bonuses and opportunity that come with working with such a large industry has opened the doors to affiliates to make money. Live by Faith, Not by Sight
Do you feel like you are experiencing roadblocks to your dreams?
Do you feel like you are striving for something but it just seems
to elude you?
Maybe you are a little discouraged and confused about what God
wants for you. Do you wonder if God has a plan for your life? And
if He does, why does it remain unfulfilled?
There may be a multitude of thoughts running through your mind as
you continue day in and day out, repeating the same mundane tasks
over and over again, wondering if things will ever change.
You may be frustrated and wondering what your purpose is. Jesus
said, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who
believes,” (Mark 9:23) and He also said, “According to your
faith, be it done unto you.” (Matt 9:29)
Friends, we must believe without a doubt that we will have good
things in life, that we will be guided to the right situations at
the right times, and that we really will see our dreams
manifested. We will, if we believe because our faith can move
mountains!
God has a wonderful plan for each of His children according to
his or her own unique gifts and abilities. (Jeremiah 29:11)
Therefore, we must trust that God is working all things for our
benefit according to His plan. (Romans 8:28) It really is just a
matter of faith.
The Bible says, “Without faith, it is impossible to please God,
for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a
rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (Heb 11:6)
I love the part where it says, “Believe that He is.” Believe that
He is what? Our Heavenly Father and God Almighty! The author of
the entire universe. The greatest force that has ever existed.
And, He knows right where you are. Every hair on your head is
numbered. (Luke 12:7) If you don’t have any hair, don’t worry,
your fuzz is probably numbered.
Living the abundant and prosperous Christian life is really just
a matter of getting out of God’s way. Quit trying to always
figure things out. Turn off the reasoning and let Him do His work
in you, through you, and for you, making you perfect and
complete, lacking nothing.
Psalms 18:29 says, “In your strength I can crush an army; with my
God I can scale any wall.” (NLT)
Decide to have faith in any given situation. Believe everything will
work out fine no matter
what things may look like. As Christians, we live by faith, not
by sight. (2 Cor 5:7) After all, God is the final authority in
any given situation and He knows exactly what He wants to do in
your life.

The Uses and Benefits of Enzyme Based Swimming Pool Chemicals
A highly effective new line of enzyme based swimming pool chemicals has recently been introduced to the pool industry. These all-natural swimming pool products break down harmful organics present in swimming pool water using enzymes, instead of harsh chemicals traditionally used for this purpose. These helpful pool enzymes have no affect on swimmers, and are completely safe to store and handle. When used with reduced levels of chlorine (or bromine), these pool enzyme products are an important part of a very effective low chlorine pool maintenance routine.
The real purpose of a pool sanitizer (chlorine or bromine) is to kill harmful bacteria, however the sanitizer will naturally also work to break down any organic contamination in swimming pool water. The sanitizer is used up in the process of fighting organics, and a higher concentration of the sanitizer is require to ensure that any bacteria is also quickly neutralized. When pool enzymes are added on a regular basis, these enzymes eat up and break down all organic material in the pool water. If safe and natural enzymes are used to eliminate all organics in the water, less chlorine is needed to effectively kill bacteria. This saves money on swimming pool chemicals, and the reduced level of harsh sanitizer is much easier on the skin, hair and eyes of swimmers.
Enzymes are also an excellent pool stain remover, if staining is caused by something organic such as leaves sitting on the floor of a pool over the winter. Unsightly staining may also form at the water line of swimming pools, and is caused by the oils left in the pool water by swimmers. Oils float on the surface of the pool water, and combine with dirt or minerals to accumulate on the pool surface and form the stain. Enzymes added on a regular basis will eat away at the oils, to eventually remove the ugly water line stain and prevent the stain from returning.

How To Find Your Own Profitable Niche
To start making money online relatively quickly, you need to find those subject areas that are not currently over-saturated by other marketers. You need to find your own niche, and one that is relatively uncompetitive.
Topics like health, internet marketing, gambling, etc, are all fiercely competitive, and very difficult for inexperienced marketers to make any decent money from. You can of course target these markets over time, but I recommend finding your own niche first, and marketing to those people in these more narrow markets. These people are most likely not yet over-exposed to traditional marketing methods associated with internet marketing like squeeze pages, opt-in forms, sales letters, and so on, so you are more likely to be successful.
A potentially profitable niche would be one that has a decent number of keyword searches conducted every month, I would say at least a few thousand, and one where you could potentially achieve the number one spot, or at least get on the first page of results, for this keyword with a pagerank of 5 or less. This is Google’s measure of how many links and the quality of links that a site has, and although it is not the only deciding factor, a higher figure will generally result in a higher ranking.
If you carry out a good link-building campaign, and fully optimize your website, it is not too difficult to achieve a pagerank of 5 or more within just a few months, and start climbing up the rankings. However, you have to remember that it can take several months for this high PR to be rewarded with a good ranking, particularly with Google and Yahoo.
To begin thinking up potential niches I recommend starting off with a blank piece of paper, or a blank page on your computer, and start brainstorming. Start listing all the things you’re interested in, and also break these down into smaller, more narrow subjects as well.
You can also find out what other people online are talking about. Visit blogs, article directories, forums, groups, etc, and see which subjects seem to be cropping up over and over again. Again list any related keywords you can think of. You never know, one of these may be a potential goldmine.
Next take a look at the book and magazine sections of Amazon, and see which type of publications people are currently buying by looking at the top 100 or bestsellers list. Similarly you can go to Ebay and find out which items are selling more than others, and are therefore currently in demand.
Also look around you, closer to home. Visit libraries for potential ideas, and also go into newsagents, and look at the magazine section. If there’s a magazine on a particular niche subject then there must be a decent demand for it, otherwise it wouldn’t be in circulation.
Just be creative and you will soon have a large list of potential subjects and related keywords. Once you have this information you are ready to start conducting keyword research, as I mentioned earlier. There are various tools available, both free and paid services, but a good place to start is Yahoo’s search marketing site. Just keep entering the keywords you’ve gathered, and you will soon uncover high demand, low supply keywords that you could potentially base a website on, and start making some money from.
